Plett goes groovy with the second annual Plett Music Festival – in aid of the Kids of Kurland programme – with a musical week at the stately White House venue.

The White House, as one of Plett’s oldest buildings, has been restored and renovated to a magical concert venue complete with romantic courtyard, gallery and stage suited to everything from classical shows to foot-stomping rock  concerts.

The Plett Music Festival brings together a collection of talented musicians, many internationally renowned, for a festival of musical celebration.

On the calendar this year are:

  • Seasoned vocalist Mia Swart, and Olga Schoeman on the guitar and keyboard
    Renowned saxophonist Andrew Young
Outstanding musician and guitarist, Derek Gripper, who will perform his globally acclaimed adaptations of music from Mali for the guitar on Thursday.
    The Rhodes University Chamber Choir
Jazz master Martin Wolfhaart in concert with the spectacular Anda Masala Jazz Quartet.
From Thursday to Sunday there will also be live entertainment in the courtyard of The White House from 19h00.  A cash bar will be open and there will be snacks for sale.

Tickets usually sell fast, so book yours soon. All proceeds go to The Kids of Kurland School Project.

Dates: Wed 4 February to Sun 8 February 2015
Tickets: Tickets can be bought at The Old House Shop, Plettenberg Bay, or reserved by calling Ann Fermor on 082 452 8764
